Hi Year 3,
I hope that everybody had a nice weekend. We are now on to week 14 of our home learning and the last week before the summer holidays. I am really looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday!
* Today for comprehension, I would like you to carefully read the information on Theseus and the Minotaur. This story is a famous Ancient Greek myth. Use your VIPERS skills to help you answer the questions.
* Today we are finishing off looking at comparing mass. You will need to look at the objects and scales on the sheet carefully, in order to answer the questions and I have to say, this is a little more tricky than our work on Friday. For some of the questions, you will need to explain your answers. I have attached a PowerPoint for you to look at first.
Don't forget to keep your 2,3,4,5,8 and 10 times tables ticking over and also make sure that you are able to show the inverse operation to each fact, for example 4 x 8=32, so 32 divided by 8 is 4. Also, some of you are now very confident with all of the times tables we have looked at, so if you feel that you are, I would like you to begin to learn your 6, 7 and 9 times tables.
Bye for now.
