a Pathway to Success

October 2017

At our first proper School Council meeting, there was discussion surrounding the suggestion boxes which should be in each class, which are used to put forward suggestions to be discussed.  Each rep was tasked with ensuring that their class has a box and talking to their class about the purpose of this.

On election to the School Council, the parents of Neve, one of the Year 2 reps, have purchased us some litter grabbers, high-vis jackets and gloves.  Part of Neve’s manifesto was to try to make the school grounds less litter free.  Members of the School Council were keen to give a litter picking rota a go, on a trial basis during afternoon break and a rota will be devised over the coming weeks.

Mr Geeson gave an update on the defibrillator.  He has explained that he is seeking advice from others, as to the best model to buy which would be suitable for a primary school.
