Greenmount -

a Pathway to Success

Thursday, 7th May

Hi Year 3,

I hope that you are working hard on your World War Two projects  that you are enjoying looking at another area of British history and finding it interesting.  Remember, you can do what you want, whether this be a piece of art work, interviewing somebody who lived through the war or a presentation.  I'm really looking forward to seeing some of your finished pieces of work, so don't forget you can show me on your portfolios on Class Dojo.

MATHEMATICS

  *   We are coming towards the end of our revision work on time and we are going to finish off by looking at the number of hours in a day, days in a week etc.  The attached sheet should be self explanatory, but we need to read the questions carefully.  We all should know that there are 24 hours in a day, but how many hours are in 3 days?  We know that there are 7 days in a week, but how many days would be in four weeks?  If you are feeling confident with this, you should start with the second sheet!

ENGLISH

  *   I will not be setting you any English work this week, as I would like you to focus on the World War Two activity.

As tomorrow is a Bank Holiday, I will not be giving you any work to do, as we wouldn't usually be in school. I hope that you all have a lovely long weekend, taking the advantage of getting some fresh air and exercise.  Hopefully the weather will be kind to us!

Keep up the hard work!

Take care.

Mr G
