I hope that getting back into the swing of doing school work wasn’t too much of a shock for you and that you were all fine with yesterday’s activities.
Right, here goes for Tuesday 21st April:
- Continuing with our work on graphs, take a look at the Classroom Secrets sheets (VF) and start at either 1a/4a/7a depending upon your confidence level.
- Look at page 144 of the TYM sheets. This time you are going to be using the graphs to convert between different currencies. As yesterday, you might need the PDF for the graph paper.
- Spend 10 minutes doing ‘Look, cover, write and check’ of your spellings because I am going to suggest that you do your spelling test tomorrow.
- Your English work for today is to complete a comprehension and some grammar and vocabulary work based on the Titanic. I know that we are focusing on the sinking of the Lusitania but there were some similarities between the style and opulence (check the meaning of this word!) of the two ships. Some of the vocabulary work will help with some of the writing tasks that we are going to be doing about the Lusitania.
I’ll be back in touch tomorrow
