Hi Year 3,
I hope that you all well and have managed to make a start on your World War Two projects. I'm really looking forward to seeing your finished pieces of work, so don't forget you can show me on your portfolios on Class Dojo. Your Mum or Dad should have the log in details for this.
* Following on from our work so far on the duration of time, I would like you to have a go at working out how long certain events take to happen. Remember, you may find it useful to have an analogue clock to help you and remember to count in multiples of 5. You should find that you are becoming more confident at this and although we have looked at this in class, it is something that is more difficult and you just have to keep working on this! As I have said many times before, time is the one topic in maths that a lot of children find difficult, yet it is really important for our everyday lives.
* I will not be setting you any English work this week, as I would like you to focus on the World War Two activity.
As Friday is a Bank Holiday, I will not be giving you any work to do, as we wouldn't usually be in school.
Good luck with your projects and I am really looking forward to seeing these.
