Main Activity =
Over the past few days you have done a lot of work on o’clock and half past times. We are aware that you will all be at different levels with this. If you feel like you have not yet mastered o’clock and half past times please continue working on these times for the next couple of days. If on the other hand you feel that you have a good understanding of these times we would like to challenge you a little bit more. Today we would like you to think about quarter past times. Discuss with an adult what a quarter is (you have already done in this in school) and using that knowledge where might the minute hand point when it is quarter past?
Practice reading and making these times on a clock first thinking very carefully about where each of the hands should be.
Then complete the attached worksheet.
