Good morning Year 6
I hope you enjoyed doing yesterday’s propaganda poster.
Here is your work for Wednesday 24th June:
1 Your maths work today is all based on the maths that we have been working on over the last couple of weeks – perimeter, area and volume. Your task is to combine your mathematical skills with your creative skills so take a look at the Classroom Secrets Consolidation activity.
2 I now want you to find somewhere very quiet and read chapters 15, 16 and 17 of Listen To The Moon. I think you will realise why I have asked you to read all of these together. Have you spotted any more items from our ‘Lucy Box’ in the story yet? (Horseshoe, piece of music by Mozart, picture of the Lusitania, one-eyed teddy bear, peacock feather, piece of blanket with the name ‘Wilhelm’ on it.) Add to your story board and make note of any thoughts that spring to mind.
Have a good day.
