Greenmount -

a Pathway to Success

Wednesday, 3rd June

Morning all!

Thank you so much for all my letters! I didn’t expect so many. It has been lovely reading about your half term. It seems most of us have been out walking and spotting each other, enjoying the sunshine and having BBQs!

English

Writing task (letter) √
SPAG activity (homophones) √

Then, there’s no written English task today, instead take a look at some of these websites and play some of the English games – make a note of your favourite ones. You’ll need to read the description to decide if it’s something you fancy playing!

Maths

We are continuing finding the perimeter but today with rectilinear shapes. ‘What are they?’ I can hear you ask… it’s a polygon made up of more than two rectangles. Watch another teaching video which takes you step by step through it. Year 4 - Week 4 - Lesson 3 - Perimeter of rectilinear shapes

I’ve attached the worksheet to go along with the lesson.

 Happy home learning!

Speak to you tomorrow,
