Hi Year 3,
I hope you are all well and raring to go for another day of learning! Keep sending me the messages on Class Dojo, as it has been great to see what you are all up to at home.
* Today is our handwriting day. As usual, please complete the two sheets and then find out the meanings of any words which you are unsure of.
* We are continuing with our work on mass. We are beginning to look at using mixed units, kilograms (kg) and grams (g), so you will need to look very carefully at the scales on the sheet and work out what the arrow is pointing to. For example, your answer may be 2kg and 300g. Once you get into this, it will become straightforward and if you are feeling confident, please start with sheet 2.
* Mrs Rowland has placed some practical science investigations on the school website for you to have a go at.
Don't forget to keep your 2,3,4,5,8 and 10 times tables ticking over and also make sure that you are able to show the inverse operation to each fact, for example 4 x 8=32, so 32 divided by 8 is 4. Also, some of you are now very confident with all of the times tables we have looked at, so if you feel that you are, I would like you to begin to learn your 6, 7 and 9 times tables.
Bye for now!
