Forest School
Friday is Forest School day at Greenmount !
Working in collaboration with Lisa from Wild Souls, we offer Forest School sessions to all year groups over the course of the year.
The sessions are based on child-led play in our forest school area and centre around our fire-circle. The children build skills in resilience, team work and leadership through a wide range of activities. In addition to the fire circle, there is lots of room to play, build and explore the natural world, a mud kitchen, a quiet space, a climbing tree, a tool shed and lots more.
Lisa plans additional activities to complement the children's learning in Science and Geography.
