This is a closed group for parents and carers with a child currently at Greenmount Primary School.
We use this page a lot to connect with families, advertise events and ask for help.
Uniform Shop
Open Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's 3.00 pm - 3.45 pm.
In May 2022 we opened our Uniform Shop - selling quality, donated, second hand uniform for affordable prices. 100% of all sales go straight to the PTA to help with school funds. As well as saving families money on the cost of uniform we also save vast quantities of textile waste.
The shop is manned by volunteers and is open Monday, Wednesday and Fridays during term time, 3.00pm-3.45pm.
To donate uniform please wash, remove any name labels (leaving size label intact) and place into the large blue bin at the school entrance.
If you would like to enquire about volunteering in the shop, please email greenmountpta@live.com.

Stikins - school uniform labels
It's so important to keep all of your uniform labelled. We have partnered with Stikins name labels. These are good quality labels and if you click the link below, when you purchase we will receive 30% commission.
Click below and raise free donations for the school.
Other ways to help us fundraise is by using the below shopping apps. By signing up to these apps you can support the PTA's fundraising target by generating free donations for us every time you shop online. Install the app on your mobile device or set the apps reminder on your desktop and get started now. It doesn't cost you anything, but raises vital funds for our school. Please do tell your friends and family how they can help us at no extra cost too.

We always welcome new faces... here's How To Get Involved!
Meetings:
All parents are very welcome to attend the PTA meetings. You can come to one, all, any you like and you can be as involved as you can / wish to be. There is no pressure. Meetings generally last 1-2 hours and can be attended either in person or via teams. You can find the date of the next meeting at the top of this page.
Volunteering:
If you can't make the meetings but would like to be involved, we are always looking for help at our events, discos, secret shops, fairs etc. We need lots of support to run these events and so an hour of volunteering does make all the difference. Please fill out the form near the top of the page to become a 'Friend of the PTA'.
Attending events:
Of course our fundraising events are worthless unless you support them! The proceeds go straight back to school and the children really love it too. Be assured, your money is always used in the most beneficial way.
Second Hand Uniform Shop:
We are always looking for volunteers to help sell in our shop. Please get in touch with Dawn if you can help to man the shop on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday 3-3.45pm. Of course, please also donate and buy from the store too. Buying from us reduces textile waste, helps to tackle climate change, can save you hundreds of pounds and supports the PTA charity - it's a win win!
Volunteer Database
We are in the process of setting up a database of prospective volunteers that we can ask for help. so, for example, if we need someone to help set up the Summer Fair, we know we are asking the right people. If you can help in any way, you can fill in the form in the PTA Booklet recently sent home and give it into the office or your PTA Rep, or you can fill out an online form here:
We won't bombard you with request and only elected members of the PTA will be able to access the details. Thanks in advance!
