Admissions to Greenmount
Our admissions number is 30.
We currently have spaces for the 2026 - 2027 academic year in:
- Year 2
- Year 4
- Year 5
- Year 6

Admissions to Reception
Admissions to Reception are managed by the Local Authority (Bury Council); full information and contact details can be found on their website following the link below.

If you are looking for a place for September 2027, please come to one of our Open Events:
Our Open Mornings last about an hour. They begin with a presentation from the Head Teacher followed by the chance to look around the school and before/after school club.
No need to book - just turn up ! |
You have to apply online with Bury Council between November and January (follow the link below).

Induction Process
Our induction process begins at this point. Induction involves a meeting for parents and opportunities for the children to visit the school in June for a taste of school life.
We operate a staggered intake in September. For the first four days, children come to school for either the morning or afternoon session. This allows the children a smooth transition into school and staff the opportunity to get to know the children in smaller groups. On the fifth day, all the children come to school for the morning session and leave after having their lunch. From the sixth day, the children are in full time.
