Autumn Term Second Half
Following on from the previous half-term’s topic where they focused on our locality, in this topic the children will ‘Zoom Out’ from our locality to explore their place in relation to the UK, the continents, the world and Outer Space. This topic forms a basis for their Geographical work as they move through the school developing their knowledge of the UK, Europe and the wider world.
They will continue to learn about the weather, exploring seasonal changes in Science.
In History, the children will begin to learn about the past focussing on the historical background to Remembrance Day and Bonfire Night and how they are celebrated.
