Handwriting
This is the handwriting script we teach across school from Reception.
Up until Year 3, the children receive dedicated handwriting lessons.
As they become more adept at joining, children are expected to use joined handwriting (where appropriate) in all of their work.
We subscribe to an online teaching program to support our teaching of handwriting.
This is particularly useful to see how each letter is formed.
Children can access the program from home.
Log on by clicking the icon above or using the URL www.letterjoin.co.uk and entering the username and password that has been sent home.
To watch an animation to show how each letter is formed:
- click on "easy letters" from the menu on the left of the screen
- select the letter you require from the alphabet strip at the bottom of the screen
- press the "play" button
