Spelling

We formally teach spelling from Year 1 to Year 6 through a weekly spelling list which cover the objectives outlined in the National Curriculum.

Each list is explored with the children, patterns identified and words practiced through multi-sensory activities during the course of the week.

We do not conduct spelling tests.

The junior children use an online platform called Spelling Frame to practice the words and patterns through games and quizzes.
