a Pathway to Success
We have been allocated £18,130 for the academic year 2018/2019.
We intend to spend the money:
£14,575 to employ a Sports Coach from September 2018 who will:
* work alongside class teachers to plan, deliver and assess high quality P.E. lessons
* train class teachers to teach more discrete skills
* support school staff to run existing after-school activities to increase the capacity for participation
* offer structured sporting activities at lunchtimes, with a focus on those children who are currently reluctant to take part
* increase our participation in local sporting competitions and School Games activity
£875 to provide additional swimming coaching for those children who have not yet reached the end of KS2 expectations for swimming
£2680 to enter sporting competitions and buy additional resources to:
* increase active participation in P.E. lessons
* introduce new sports and activities
* take part in School Games activity
